Our new album, Vagues et ombres, will be released in a few weeks - on May 27 - with Alpha Classics! If you have seen our film-concert of the same name, you’ll already be familiar with the repertoire of this album: Thibault’s arrangements of works by Claude Debussy - Clair de lune, La Mer, Des pas sur la neige, and others - are complemented by the premiere recording of Montreal composer Luna Pearl Woolf’s Contact, “a sonic view into the underwater world of beluga whales in the St. Lawrence Estuary.” The single from this album is out now - a beautiful, fluid arrangement of Clair de lune, inspired by Isao Tomita’s version for Moog synthesizer.
Vagues et ombres is already available for pre-order within Canada on Bandcamp, and at select retailers outside of Canada.
